I been seeing lone gobblers in fields all week. I might actually try and kill one this year. Been about 6 years or so since I’ve even tried.

Got a couple pictures like this this morning. Ole boy had her pinned down for a couple minutes.

Man that’s a smart move if you gotta replace it. A decent tin boat will cost you more than double your asking price. I still fish out of a 1963 model 14’ alumacraft now and then. Ain’t nothing wrong with a little age and experience. I will never sell my old boat.

Got a pond that’s got some pretty good size ones in it too. They are hard to catch and it seems like they get smart quick when you catch one or two. I have had the best luck with bream on jugs for catching numbers in the pond. My boy caught a pretty good one on a minnow last week. CE3700A7-08CC-4AA1...
