Well, we finished 4th in our tournament with only 3 fish. Had 11.52 pounds...not bad for only 3 fish.

Unfortunately I'm on Guntersville this weekend..... in the middle of that 500-600 boat madhouse!

Well I learned fast to throw way out ahead of the boat!!!

Beat 'em up pretty good on Wedowee this morning. Daniel had me on numbers, but I'm stickin to my story that I had him on weight!! :D
He worked me over though when we started shooting docks...I think he could shoot a jig around a corner!

Turns out we'll be going next weekend, and we're supposed to have warm weather between now and then. I guess we'll just see if anything will eat a live shrimp when I get there.

Are there any kinds of fish I could catch from the pier early this month? Thinking about making a weekender with the wife either this coming weekend or the next. Didn't know if any kind of species were catchable from the pier this early or not?

Very cool information! Every buck is an individual. Some travel great distance and some are real homebodies. I've seen GPS collar data showing bucks that don't leave 100 acres in a year, and bucks that cover 18,000+ acres per year. Would you say the majority do one or the other? I don't have many e...

Please don't take my answer as contrary or argumentative, I only intend to reiterate my stance on this education/regulation debate once again, even if in an exasperated tone of voice... Neither is worth a pile of feces when proposed "universally". Until our state has the understanding/funds/manpower...

Because of where I hunt, I mostly bow hunt after Christmas. I hunt on a military base and THEY determine the hunt schedule (gun or bow, which days, etc). They only have a couple of gun hunts left, but they'll bow hunt about 20 days this month. If I kill another buck, it'll most likely be with a bow.

Because I haven't said it in at least 10 minutes, I hate spread football!!!
