That was just with my cell phone. DL,the hunt Friday morning was on that ridge we put the double ladder on by 13. When I hit the horns and hit your grunter,me and Finley had 3 bucks stand up on the hillside across the bottom towards 15. It was beautiful. They worked their way all the way to us there...

Between the rattling horns,and my David Leonard grunt tube,this buck couldn't resist. The morning before this,I rattled/grunted up 5 different bucks as well. They were really responding well to it. Those grunt calls DL puts out are the real deal!!

Thanks again DL. Wished I could've joined y'all in bow season this year. I missed that trip. Should be back to normal next year.

Slipped up to camp this past weekend for my 1st trip in the woods with a gun. Only hunted a couple days in bow season,and didn't see much,so expectations were low. The first day of the trip proved to be all we needed to get 3 solid bucks on the ground. I got a giant 6/7 point that tipped the scales ...

Supposed to be good cams. Simple to set up!!
Better knock the dust off that xbow. Oct 15th will be here before we know it!!

Buck 1 is mature in my opinion -4+
Buck 2 is at least 6,but I think 7. I've had pics of him for a good 5 years now. Last year he broke his main beam. This year,his rack has started to decline. Doesn't look as heavy and his tines are shorter. Spread did get bigger but that rascal is smart.

these 2 are on the hitlist this year. first one is a new one; don't think ive got any pics of him in years past. 2nd buck I'm very familiar with and have a good idea of his age.
