all. This is a hack I figured out for anyone using screw in tree steps. As everyone knows the screw point has to be very sharp to be able to get started in tree.
I have ruined some dump pouches with them points. If your having that same problem try some yellow wire nuts on the points. The screw on super tight and don't dull the points. Hope this helps some of yall.

When I passed 50 years old, I came up with a smarter solution.
I quit climbing trees.

I ain't been in a tree in a while. After falling out one time, it got my attention
