The other day, I put a new trail camera out where a buck had made a fresh scrape. Today when I went in to check the camera to make sure it was working properly, I walked in on a couple of deer there.
The pictures indicated that a doe had shown a lot of interest in how I smell. I must have smelled pretty good the way she just kept on sniffing. :) Needless to say, it'll be a while before I should go back or I'll probably push them away from that spot.
(BTW: this is one of the cheap Tasco cams from Walmarks for $28)

For $28 bucks... That's one of the best videos I've seen for a price like that....

Theses videos are from the second camera located at another scrape I found.
I entered the area at a 90 degree angle to the trail, so I didn't leave as much scent for them to notice. It seems to have worked. They didn't seem to even notice I had been there.
