not surprising, a duck is the most damn expensive animal in the state to be licensed for. now an $11 dollar state duck stamp, a $25 federal duck stamp, and a $17.45 small game license but everyone i know buys the $26.20 all game license, myself included. thats $62.20 just for a damn hunting license. what is the extra $5 dollars a year from every duck hunter going to go towards? maybe our central alabama public waterfowl habitat, oh yeah, except for the lakes we dont have any. it would be different if we were paying extra for some managed public waterfowl impoundments but we arent. i guess there are 2 in the whole state, is it swan creek and eufaula? i aint goin 3 hours away from home for ducks and staying in the state of alabama, if im goin far enough away from home to have to spend the night then im goin to mississippi or arkansas. its just gonna be more money for the state to steal from the dcnr. smmfh
