Hunt Woodcocks here. We got a cutover that is loaded with em. Are they any good to eat?

I ain't killed any in probably 40 years but Hell yeah they're good to eat. Momma used to pressure cook em and then fry em....make some gravy and biscuits......mighty fine eating!

Yea I’ve ate em. Killed a pile of em over the years rabbit hunting. Poor man Quail is what my uncle called em.
