Do y’all use them? If so, what kind? And do you think they actually work?

Re: Grunt calls
I have never had any luck with one....but...like Talltines said...it can't hurt to try one during the rut.

Re: Grunt calls
Yea they work. Got 2 deer on wall and another 5 or 6 skulls of nice bucks I never woulda killed without them. During rut I use a primos hardwood grunt tube and rest of year I use a flextone bone collector multi call. The key is knowing the right sounds to make depending on time of year. Rattling works too especially early season before bachelor packs break up.

Re: Grunt calls
The biggest 8 point I ever killed, I rattled and grunted in. He cane in pissed and bowed up. It was full rut though. BUT, I’ve also called in some small bucks over the years looking for that other deer. I feel like they work at certain times and situations. Have blindly lightly called some in the past, with no success.

Re: Grunt calls
They work. A ol cheap knight n hale is what I use and called several in. A snort wheeze is responsible for my biggest deer though.
:D Sometimes when I'm home alone I beat it like it owes me money :D
