I tried out a new call this morning.
I was sitting against a tree staring at my grandfather's rifle and watching for deer when my nose started running. It finally got to where I was making so much noise sniffling that I stood up and fished out my travel pack of Kleenex and blew my nose into a tissue really hard. As soon as I did, I heard some rustling across in the brush on the next hillside. I waited a minute and looked carefully and then wrote it off as a squirrel. Then I blew my nose one more time just to be sure I put a stop to all the sniffing. That's when a buck came barreling out of the brush and straight at me. Thanks Kleenex. Best dang call I ever had.
