We only put a small one over by the dove field. Was late this year getting up so didn't wanna invest too much $$ into it. With the burn we had this year, that provides plenty of browse for them. Ya he was pretty standing in then pines on that hillside. Couldn't believe he stood there for so long, but that's how they act when there's not always pressure on them and guns going off. Ran right into "Peggys bottom". She used to hunt alot down there. Last year,Tammy had a stand in it and hunted it quite a bit. I saw all those racks you did in the shack. Some studs in there for sure. You did a great job on them. Think I snuck up on your buddy Warney while I was out scouting. He was digging in the creek. Don't think he saw me though
Good deal bro! Hate I missed yall....yea I saw Tammy's stand when we were putting salt out in the spring. That buck has no worries from me. You know I like to kill them does!
I haven't been to the creek much this year. I've got a lot going on around the house, plus it's been raining every week and the creek has been high. That warney has been more than me this year, but not finding a whole lot.
We got into the pigs over in motts field one night. Me and Robert had our AR's and I bloodied up a couple. Also saw a sounder over in the hammock right by the county road but I didn't have a gun with me,of course. We caught one in our trap and left Bob's trap set cause Aaron didn't mind, and he caught 14 in it a couple days ago. Unfortunately,I'm thinking they are in that property to stay. Every one we kill though is one less eating acorns and food for the deer
