How many deer have you fellers killed in February? Since the season extension, I haven’t even seen a deer in February. I’m just curious if it’s changed anyone’s hunting results. I like another 10 days to get in the woods but haven’t seen any benefit to it.

I have killed a couple of bucks in February since the extension.....but I still wish season would end on January 31.

I ain't killed a one.... Not cuz I couldn't....I have seen em...just nothing I wanted to shoot....

Around my house they are chasing from the middle of January until the middle of February. Up at my camp they don't start rutting until the end of January so if the season wasn't extended we probably wouldn't kill anything. I've had pretty good luck though in February. I always feel like I'm hunting illegally because I'm so used to the season going out the end of January

Where we hunt there really wasn't any bucks moving at the end of January and into February. Not this year anyway. Last year there were. And almost all of the deer had gone nocturnal.

We did start seeing more does. They were in a pretty consistent feeding pattern but I guess they had all been bred cause there weren't any bucks with them at all.

Last season and this season ... I've seen much more rutting activity in the last 2-3 days (Feb 8,9,10) than all the rest of the season combined.

I found scrapes that had just been worked and running tracks on dirt roads in Conecuh county last week. I guess it is still happening.
