Great weekend in the woods

Slipped up to camp this past weekend for my 1st trip in the woods with a gun. Only hunted a couple days in bow season, and didn't see much,so expectations were low. The first day of the trip proved to be all we needed to get 3 solid bucks on the ground. I got a giant 6/7 point that tipped the scales at 220lb. Both main beams were 23 3/4" long. Really old buck. I was sitting in a me & my buddy ladder stand down in a bottom. The buck came by us tending 2 does. I shot him at 85 yards, and couldn't see his head or butt when I shot. Had a really small window, but luckily made it happen. That evening,my nephew sat with my dad,and shot a good 8 that weighed 165lb; 15 min later,my dad shot a knarly 11 point that weighed 175lb. All bucks were chasing. We had 3 generations that all got bucks the same day. It was a day ill never forget. The rest of the weekend was full of great hunts, with bucks chasing and working scrapes/rubs all over. I absolutely love hunting during the rut.
This trailcam pic is from 2 seasons ago. He disappeared shortly after this. I thought he got shot off the property.
My dad and nephews bucks
All 3
I will add that at the beginning of every sit,I was rattling and grunting with my grunt tube I got off David Leonard. In the 2 years I've been using that tube,I'd bet I've called/coaxed over 30 different bucks to come investigate. They are the real deal. Thanks again DL!!
