Who has used one for deer or hogs that can give a review on it. I got a deal on one and thinking about letting my 7 year old who is small for his age use it. He will be hunting from ground blind/ shoot house , shots will be 75 yards and in.

I haven't used one but I would absolutely love to. I feel like it would pummel a deer or hog.

Im going to try it on hogs with those new Barnes bullets

I bought one for my 6 year old last year because of his small frame. Last year he killed 2 does and an 8 with it. This year he killed 4 does and a coyote. My 10 year old daughter also killed a doe with it. We have only had one deer run when shot with it. All others were DRT. The one that ran, showed up on a game camera two weeks later with a glancing blow to the brisket.
