Maybe this will work. First time posting a video. This bird had the longest beard I have ever seen. I laid eyes on him three times. I worked him one morning and had him at 30 yards but never got a shot. I sure wish I could’ve killed him. I put the second video on here where you can see his crazy long spurs too.

Way way way on up there. He was so inconsistent that I spent a lot of time hunting him without much intel on where he could be. Basically wasted a lot of time. I honed in on where he liked to be when he did get on the property, he just wasn’t on the property that much at all. I think he spent most of his time on the neighbors. I’m sure he’s coyote shat by now.

Hoss of a bird sure enough

I killed one a few years ago that we named Capt Hook.
Had several pictures of him. Took my nephew several times trying to kill him and I eventually got one morning hunting by myself. One hook was 1"&7/8 and the other was 1"&1/4. Not sure how long his beard was originally, but he'd worn the end off dragging it on the ground.

That Ol' boy has been around a few days and is in need of a jelly head
