Good morning guys, I hope y'all are ready for another season. I will be hunting Crenshaw and Elmore counties. I have seen a lot of birds in Crenshaw county this year so I'm hoping for a good year but I have been humbled by these birds before.

How's it going? Maybe I won't hurt our chances too bad with the limited amount of time I'll get to hunt. I'll be hunting Colbert county, lauderdale and possibly Marion.

That's a nice bird. I went and listened this weekend and they were burning it up Saturday morning and I didn't hear anything this morning. You just never know.

Ok, we are the first on the board. That was my one easy hunt for the year. He pitched down 20 yards in front on me.

I missed one yesterday morning, my first miss is 25 years. But I am seeing lot of birds so I should get on another one this week in Crenshaw county. My buddy in Elmore county sent me some pics this afternoon of birds working a field in Titus. I am going to try one morning up there and I will be up there Saturday morning.

Had a chance to go this morning. Heard one on the roost gobble a few times but quit right after fly down. Got to take my four year old son to enjoy the experience with me. It was his first turkey hunt. He's hooked now after hearing the bird gobbling

Hope you guys are having better luck than me. I haven't got to work a bird yet. The dang wind blows constantly every time I've been and seldom gobbling.
