WTB Scope

I am looking for a high magnification scope to put on my 300 mag. I am hunting a tract this year that offers shots out to 400+ yards so I need a little help with the eyes. Not interested in junk, but not wanting to drop a grand on one either. If you have something that meets my needs, lets bargain.

IMO, Millett offers some real good scopes for less than $600. You can find them in 6x25x56 for around $400-$500. They are built strong for large calibers such as a 50 or .338 lapua. I have one mounted on a Rem. Sendero 7 mag that works very well. They have a 35mm tube and come with rings. You can get illuminated reticle if you want. And they have a knob for range focus adjustment.

Most likely not what you're looking for but I gotta pull off from a rifle I just bought. Bushnell Elite 4200 4-16x50 AO. It's shows some wear from use but good glass with positive clicks and tracked well when I shot "the box" test earlier this week, scope was just too big for the small rifle it was mounted on. $200
