You're welcome to tag along if you want. I want to go by myself the first time so I can make sure I have all the bugs worked out and that everything is working to my satisfaction.( I don't like wasting other folks time and taking them on crappy fishing trips) but send me a pm and you can go with me and we will force feed some trash fish
Nice setup you got there. it kinda makes my flashlight strapped to the reel seat on my bow look bad though  still waiting on the water to come up a little more here then its on fo sho.

I know what you mean, this will be my first go around bowfishing under adequate lighting. The most lights I have ever had on a boat was 4 little off-road halogens. This will be a big change. Yeah I'm ready for the water to get up in the weeds.
yea we were checking some of our spots while doing a little crappie fishing Sunday afternoon. Still got a while before the water gets to the grass but the carp on some of the mud flats will be good before then. we found a new little spot last year that was loaded cant wait to get back in there this year.
I don't know jack about bow fishing. But I know a lake the is covered in carp that I have seen anyone bow fish on. I'm talking numbers that at night you can scoop them with dip nets.

lets go. it dont take much to make a good setup for bow fishing.
Last nights take. I think I did pretty dang good considering visibility was horrible last night due to the wind muddying the water. I got my boat stuck on bottom in about 4 inches of water in one spot and couldn't see bottom. The best spot I found, I could see maybe 8 inches deep. I ran over a whole lot of carp with the trolling motor.

What waters are you fishing? We went up to guntersville Friday night and shot a boatload. . .
Ended the night like this
I was fishing Logan Martin. I need to go somewhere else right now but it's only 10 minutes away. It's just super muddy and there is no grass or anything due to winter drawdown. Sucks about your troller, is that a minn Kota or motorguide?
It's a minnkota power drive v2. Dealer said it was $250 worth the damage so I just bought a new bigger one. We are talking about going up to the top of lay to fish this weekend if the water is decent. Load the boat up and come on.
