Okay...want opinions on owning a used fiberglass boat vrs alumimum. Been looking at used Bass Trackers, Skeeters and Older Rangers. Price range 5-10k max. No tournament fishing, just me and the kiddos or whoever. Wife on the other hand....wants a Pontoon. So I figure I will go ahead and get the fishin boat out of way....then take care of the Pontoon for momma next year if all goes as planned. The boat would stay at my Lake House on Lay...so not much traveling at all pulling a boat. I'm torn between a Aluminum boat..thinking 18-19'or so, OR a Fiberglass Boat....nothing fancy but well taken care of. I not a tournament fisher. I see alot of Force Engines on those Bass Trackers, and think thats made by Mercury....I think. I could have 3 people on the boat fishing at one time. Hope everybody is doing well on this rainy day here outside Bham. Appreciate your comments in advance. - Ricky

Just a thought but I bought a aluminum deck boat. It has 4 fishing seats, wraparound bench seat like a pontoon and a ski pole. You can literally do it all with one but mine only runs about 35 mph or so. If you could find one you could get by with buying only one boat.
