Any experience with Parker crossbows?

Post by Roltide »

Thinking about buying a crossbow this year and was wondering if anyone had experience with Parker? If so, good or bad? I'm looking at the new Parker Hurricane.

Not sure of the model but my dad hunts with one that is probably 10-12 years old now and it's a tack driver. Not sure about the new ones.

Yeah.... Maybe just a little.... Also giving the Mathews halon some thought but problem is I broke my left elbow back about 6 years ago and when I shoot a regular bow say 20-30 shots that sucker starts bothering me but reckon a feller only needs one shot right? Only problem there is I can't stop at one shot, I used to love to shoot tournaments :(

My wife has a Parker Thunderhawk, it is an absolute cannon. Very impressed its performance. I won't lie, I hunted with it a few times last year. Shot a doe at about 30 yards and the bolt zipped through her and buried all the way to the fletchings on the other side. I'd recommend Parker crossbows to anybody.

Parker Gale Force w/ collapsible stock so my wife & kids are able to use the same x-bow. Top notch equipment, much higher quality than the Barnett Ghost 350 they had before.
