Conecuh Sausage, am I the only one

I know this sausage has a “cult” like following, but I don’t like it. The casings are tough as leather and it has bone gristle the size of BB’s. I was raised on Jimmy Dean patty sausage and I am sticking to it.

I've noticed the last few times I ate it that it had a really strong flavor and gave me heartburn bad. I've ate it for years and really like it but here lately.... I don't know maybe it's just me getting old. LOL

I bought some of that parnell sausage patties the other day and it Was Good!

Yep, got a tad bit of heartburn as I type this. We cooked sausage and biscuits this morning at our camp.
