We haven't seen any turkeys on our place since the spring. The 2 walked out and ate in pot for about 45 mins. It was good to see gobblers. Hope there's more than just the 2 of them around.Finally!!!

Finally!!!

Nice! For whatever reason, the better (smaller) places I've hunted didn't hold birds in the fall and winter. Come spring they'd be everywhere though. May not be the case all the time. Fortunately, we live in a state where if you have 100+ acres of woods, you'll have a few turkeys at least.

You are lacking the thicker pines over there now they like to roost in during the colder winter months. You have plenty of perfect spring habitat so they will show up when it's right.
I would walk over a naked woman to get to a gobbling turkey. Ben Rodgers lee
