Small mess

Post by stackem »

Went this morning with high hopes for crappie but they didn’t cooperate. Caught about 5 bass that we released and finally caught 3 really good crappie and I started thinking if I had those bass I would have a decent mess. Started putting the bass in the box and ended up with a couple of fry’s. Just fun to get on the water and not In it like the last trip

They will if you don’t keep them caught out. Crappie have a high metabolism and don’t grow a lot for what they eat. Or “so I’ve been told” but I do know for a fact if you put some in and don’t keep them caught out over the years, they’ll take over and be a bunch of small fish.
